Hand Painted Metal Shelves
11Iron shelves in this style are typical of the Balkans and can still be found to this day in many countryside homes. The ones we selct date between the 1940’s and 1980’s. These artifacts spent most of their life outdoors working as supports for plant pots, undergoing periodiacl repainting. They are all found with the paint completely worn out, so it is important to notice that this is one of the very few products in which our intervention is not limited to preserving the state in which the object is found: each one is hand painted by brush with a unique color blend. No two shelves will present the exact same tonality. Furthermore, besides being unique in color, there is a very ample morphological and dimensional variety, with certain models being slightly more recurrent.
